  • Firework Art Fun

The residents at Aslockton Hall were looking forwards to the firework display in the grounds of the nursing home on the 5th of November. As part of the days activities the staff worked with the residents to create some firework pictures with glistening paints to catch the light.

The staff and residents are now starting to look forwards to making Christmas decorations!! Watch out for Santa

  • Retirement Apartments

We are very proud to announce the opening of the retirement wing at our second nursing home at Waltham Hall. This group of private apartments, allows residents to drift into retirement whilst maintaining privacy and Independence.  The properties are beautifully appointed and very spacious but only a stones through from the nursing home, giving each resident the comfort and security of knowing that care is there when it is eventually needed.

  • A Very Happy Home

Our focus on person centred care is in evidence throughout Aslockton Hall.  Special attention has been given to creating good sized rooms that feel homely with comfortable beds and nice furniture. We believe that all our residents should expect and deserve to feel happy in their home. We welcome residents to bring personal keepsakes and photos to encourage personalisation and familiarity in their new environment.

  • Getting Involved

We see the benefit of encouraging the residents to get involved in the activities that are put on each week. We provide a variation of events and fun things to do which aim to stimulate and interest the residents. Each month there is a religious service conducted by the local vicar. Different activities include memory lane, music, physical activities including movement to music, coffee mornings or seasonal events.

  • Feeling Well

‘How do you feel today’ is a common question asked by the staff at Aslockton Hall. This isn’t just about health, this is a question of wellbeing. Here at Aslockton Hall we encourage friends and relatives to visit, bring news, bring chocolate, or just bring your self. As well as welcoming visitors to the Hall we provide a range of activities for the residents to get involved with. This might be decorating a card, painting or arranging flowers. Wellbeing is promoted in the home and in all  that we do!
